Call for Proposals: $500 Funding Opportunity!

Are you passionate about gender, health and social equity? Interested in global development? How would you inform Canadians on global issues? Mama na Mtoto wants to fund YOUR innovative public engagement activity that will raise understanding and awareness about international development issues. Selected proposals will receive a maximum of $500 in funding from our Canadian Public Engagement Fund.

  • Proposals must be submitted by a student-led organization or a registered University of Calgary Club (not individuals)
  • Events must be aligned with the purpose of MnM’s Canadian Public Engagement Fund (see here)
  • Applicants must be in good standing with the University

We intermittently recruit interns to support research, technology and communication for our Canadian and Tanzanian offices. Most internships seek graduate and senior undergraduate students registered with partner universities.
